On Saturday, October 30th Chase Ford Productions will present “The Inception”- Central Florida’s first Natural Hair and Beauty Expo, an event designed to educate, empower, and inspire individuals who have chosen to embrace a more natural approach to hair and beauty.

Event Cost: $10 with advance online ticket purchase or through selected salons, $15 at the door. Admission price includes all workshops.
“We are excited to bring this expo to Central Florida and to offer such dynamic workshops, vendors, and speakers,” states Natashia Ford, partner for Chase Ford Productions.
Felicia Leatherwood, one of the many event headliners, has cared for the tresses of celebrities such as Jill Scott, Sanaa Lathan, and Will Smith, just to name a few. Leatherwood will be conducting her Loving Your Hair with Natural Care workshop which was designed in response to the hundreds of questions she receives from women desperate for answers and guidance about their hair. “I care because I realize that the state of our hair is a direct connection to how we feel about ourselves on the inside and my goal is to empower women everywhere” states Leatherwood.
Not only does the Natural Hair and Beauty Expo boast an all-star line-up of workshops and presenters, it’s an all day event filled with fun for the entire family. The event will include vendors, hair and fashion show, henna tattoos, eyebrow threading and an interactive kids’ zone.
Although The Natural Hair and Beauty Expo will have similarities to other natural hair events held nationwide, this is the first event on record to include a non-profit partnership. A portion of the proceeds of The Natural Hair and Beauty Expo will benefit the 501c3 non-profit Sakile and its Peace and Beauty Project initiative.
“As this is the first of its’ kind event to take place in Central Florida we have appropriately referred to our expo as The Inception, stated Donna Chase Benton, co-owner, Chase Ford Productions, as this is just the beginning. We are looking to make this an annual event that will continue to grow year after year.”
