Orange County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating the shooting of a 23-year-old black male at the Autumn Breeze Apartments near Full Sail in Orlando, around 8:00 pm on Tuesday.
While details remain sketchy, deputies said that a 911 call was received around 8:00 pm, on Tuesday, in connection with shots fired at 246 Autumn Breeze Way. Upon arrival, deputies found a 23-year-old man down who had been shot at least twice.
The victim was transported to the Orlando Regional Medical Center by the Orange county Fire Rescue.
Deputies said that the victim was conscious and talking prior to be transported to the hospital. Although his current condition is unknown, the victim is expected to survive.
Investigators have no motive yet for the shooting or a description of the suspect(s).
A vehicle was seen speeding away from the complex, following the shooting, but it is unclear whether it is connected to the incident.
Investigators are continuing with their investigation.
