Putnam County authorities say an 8-year-old boy was fatally stabbed with a pair of scissors also used to stab a police officer.
Authorities say 20-year-old Zachariah Williams attacked the officer as emergency medical personnel took the child to an ambulance. The officer was stabbed in the cheek but able to use a Taser gun on Williams.
Williams was arrested and charged with murder and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
