The Heavenly Voices Gospel Children’s Choir was named Youth Choir of the Year 2010 by Lawrence Ingram and Joy in Praise Music and Arts Seminar, Inc. on August 22. The award ceremony was held at Livingston Street Church of God (910 W. Livingston St., Orlando, 32805).
Directed by Frinzetta Boman, Heavenly Voices was formed in August 2009. Receiving spiritual insight from God to begin the choir, Ms. Boman said He also gave her the name through a vision.
The choir consists of 70 children ranging in ages from 4-15 that sing around Orlando and surrounding areas.
The group recently performed at Jones High School on August 8 during the “It’s Our Time to Shine” celebration, which was sponsored by FarMor Entertainment and Shine Performing & Creative Arts.
