Gov. Charlie Crist says Florida is applying for its first installment of federal Medicaid stimulus money.
Crist made the announcement Monday at a meeting of the Florida Hospital Association.
Paperwork will be filed Tuesday to trigger $817 million in stimulus covering a six-month period retroactive to October.
