Habitat for Humanity Orlando recently announced four new officers to its board of directors.
- Joaquin E. Martinez, president, is a partner at the Orlando law firm Lowndes, Drosdick, Doster, Kantor & Reed, P.A. where he focuses his legal practice on real estate transactions, development and finance.
- Brian Watson, vice president, is an associate at Broad & Cassel’s Orlando office, where he is a member of the firm’s banking and institutional lending, corporate and securities, public finance and capital projects practice group.
- Dianne DiFebbo, treasurer, is a partner at the CPA firm Graham, Cottrill, Jackson & Hostetter, LLP, where she is in charge of the audit practice and provides tax and consulting services.
- Stewart Dary, secretary, is the Geographic Information Services (GIS) technical services manager at Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC).
“As executive director of Habitat Orlando, I speak for the entire organization in welcoming the new officers. Under their leadership and direction, we look forward to another successful year of building homes for deserving families,” said Dee Danmeyer, executive director for Habitat for Humanity Orlando.
Currently, Habitat Orlando is constructing Stag Horn Villas, an $8 million multi-family community. Slated for completion in 2012, it will eventually house 58 low-income families.
