Bandits Rob Two 7-Elevens at Gunpoint

Orlando Police Department (OPD) detectives are investigating two robberies of two 7-Elevens that occurred on Monday night at gunpoint.  OPD said that the robberies might be related, although they may not, given some dissimilarities.

According to OPD:

Two robberies to two different 7-Elevens tonight within the same general area and within a short time frame, took place on Monday, 19th April.  They could possibly be related but there are some dissimilarities to suggest they are NOT related.

The first robbery was at 938 W. Colonial @ 8:37 p.m.–one black male, but with a possible accomplice. The suspect held one clerk (see photo) with a gun to her head and ran away on foot, north across Edgewater Drive towards the Ambassador Hotel.

The second robbery occurred at 1500 Edgewater @ 11:33 p.m.  Two black suspects forced a female clerk to open the register at gun point.  Both suspects fled on foot with a small amount of cash.

No injuries have been reported and no cars were seen.

Anyone with information is asked to call CRIMELINE @1-800-423-TIPS. Callers may remain anonymous and be eligible for a reward up to $1000.
