The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide in Sun City Center.
On November 10th at 10:43pm, HCSO’s Communications Center received a call regarding possible shots fired in the 7200 block of Camp Island Avenue in Sun City Center, near Tampa.
When deputies arrived on scene, they located a deceased adult male with a gunshot wound.
Through investigative means, detectives determined that a group of individuals gathered outside the community center, where an altercation occurred.
During the incident, a male was fatally struck by gunfire.
“Our detectives are working diligently to find out what led to this tragic incident,” said Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister. “We urge anyone with information to come forward and speak with our detectives. Even the smallest detail can make a difference in our investigation.”
