Central Florida Man Indicted for Murder for Fatal Shooting Over Pool Pump

A 29-year-old Central Florida man was indicted for murder for fatally shooting a father of three young children over a pool pump.




An Osceola County grand jury formally indicted Joshua Miller for First Degree Murder with a Firearm and Possession of a Firearm by Convicted Felon.

On June 8th, Miller accused Joseph Beck of stealing a pool pump from a home on Bronco Drive in St. Cloud in Osceola County. Miller assaulted Beck with a firearm, shot him and then fled the scene.

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office tracked Miller down and arrested him.

Beck was a father of three young children.

On August 21st, the State Attorney’s office presented sufficient evidence to a grand jury to secure an indictment against Miller for First Degree Murder with a Firearm and Possession of a Firearm by Convicted Felon.
