A 28-year-old man has been arrested and charged with murder in connection to a Central Florida homicide investigation into the shooting death of a 58-year-old.
On May 10, 2024, Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the 5500 block of Kinglethill Drive in Lithia, near Tampa, where they found 58-year-old Herbert Harris deceased from multiple gun shot wounds.
Following a thorough investigation, HCSO detectives arrested 28-year-old Christian Freebourn, who was taken into custody without incident according to local law enforcement.
He was booked and is facing Murder in the Second Degree charges.
“Thanks to the diligent efforts of our detectives, we have successfully arrested the suspect in this tragic case,” said Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister. “This arrest brings us one step closer to justice for the victim and their family. Our thoughts are with them during this difficult time.”
