Law enforcement is investigating a deadly shooting involving a Central Florida juvenile with a gunshot wound to the head.
On March 12th at 11:13pm, Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a call of an accidental shooting on the Upper Tampa Bay Trail in Tampa.
Upon arrival, deputies discovered a juvenile with a gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
At this time, deputies do not believe there is a threat to the community.
This is an ongoing investigation, according to local law enforcement.
