Man Indicted on First Degree Murder of Orlando 15-Year-Old

A grand jury recently returned a First Degree Murder indictment against 30-year-old Agardo Francois in the shooting death of a 15-year-old boy.

According to the State’s evidence, on Monday, October 30, 2023, the Orlando Police Department received a call regarding a shooting incident at 5150 Millenia Boulevard.

Upon arrival, officers discovered the victim, 15-year-old Destin Webster-Thompson, suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. Webster-Thompson was transported to the hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

The Orlando Police Department identified Francois as the primary suspect in the homicide investigation. He was subsequently arrested for the murder of Webster-Thompson on December 11, 2023 and charged with Second Degree Murder. He has been detained pending trial since his arrest.

The State presented sufficient evidence to a grand jury to secure indictments for First Degree Murder, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon and Conspiracy to Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.

His next court appearance for a pre-trial conference is scheduled for March 26, 2024. Please consult the Orange County Clerk of Courts website for updates on future court appearances by this defendant.
