Earlier today, January 16th nearly two hundred American citizens flew out of Haiti and landed at Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB).
The passengers traveled on a Air Force C-17 plane which touched down shortly after 5:00 pm. Some were going to Orlando International Airport (MCO) to catch other flights that would take them to other locations, while others were being accommodated at area hotels.
The Department of Children and Families was on hand to assist the returning Americans who were either visiting Haiti at the time of the massive earthquake last Tuesday, or living in Haiti, but who requested to be flown out.
