The Orlando Police Department continues cracking down on local crime, recently taking another gun and a lot of cannabis and cash of the streets. This time, officers from OPD’s Neighborhood Patrol Unit were busy on the beat, and their proactive police work was celebrated after an arrest was made.
The police officers recovered a crime gun, 320 grams of cannabis and over $5,000 in cash – here’s what they seized:

With local crime, guns, violence and drugs all remaining problems around Orlando and downtown under Mayor Buddy Dyer, OPD reminds all residents to remember, “See Something, Say Something” by calling Crimeline or 9-1-1.

You will be given a confidential tip code number. Tips that lead to the felony arrest of suspects and/or the recovery of stolen property and drugs may be eligible for cash rewards of up to $1,000. All tips eligible for a reward are paid to tipsters using an anonymous process. Remember, if you witness a crime in progress, you should call 911.
