Orlando Is 2021’s Best Place to Get Married

With Valentine’s Day around the corner and COVID-19 vaccinations paving the way for safer weddings in the coming months, the personal-finance website WalletHub released its report on 2021’s Best Places to Get Married. Orlando ranked as the best place to get married in 2021.

The COVID-19 pandemic has drastically altered many couples’ wedding plans or pushed them back. But as restrictions on large gatherings eventually loosen and a significant portion of the U.S. is able to get vaccinated this year, engaged couples may want to begin their wedding planning now so that they will have less of a rush when things return to normal. In the aftermath of COVID-19, cost is likely to be an even bigger concern than it usually is for many couples, as millions of Americans have been financially impacted by the pandemic and may need to cut back their spending, and WalletHub says the average couple is spending over $38,000 for their wedding day in the U.S.

To help couples find the most wedding-friendly destinations, WalletHub compared more than 180 of the biggest U.S. cities across 20 key indicators of cost-effectiveness, convenience and enjoyment. The data set ranges from average wedding cost to venues and event spaces per capita to wedding vendors.
