OUC Recognizes Frontline Grocery Store Workers

Queen Massaline, Senior Community Relations Coordinator at OUC, delivered lunch from Voodoo Food Truck to Walmart employees at the locations on Goldwyn Avenue and South Orange Avenue in Orlando.

Grocery store employees have worked tirelessly on the frontline of the coronavirus pandemic, keeping shelves stocked and ensuring we all have access to food and supplies. Their essential service is not going unrecognized locally as we battle COVID-19.

This week, OUC is honoring and thanking them for their work, feeding nearly 400 grocery store employees at eight locations across Orange and Osceola counties. OUC is working with local restaurants to provide meals – another way the utility is supporting the community. See the photos below.
