Teen escapes attempted kidnapping in Orange County neighborhood, deputies say

 

attempted-kidnapping-generic-29015960_2800_ver1.0_640_480Orange County deputies are searching for two men who attempted to kidnap a teenager in her neighborhood Thursday afternoon.

The 15-year-old had just gotten off the school bus around 2:40 p.m., on the corner of Huntcliff Park Way and Wyndham Lakes Boulevard, as was walking on the sidewalk. That’s when, a suspect for a vehicle stationed at the stop sign, got out of the passenger side and grabbed the girl by her arm.

The teen was able to break free from the suspect and run away.  She was not hurt.

The suspect’s vehicle is described as a dark green Honda or Toyota, with four doors, an older 90’s to early 2000 model, dark tinted windows, chipped paint on the roof and an orange scratch on the trunk lid.

The suspect is believed to be of a tan complexion.
