Orlando Steps Up Efforts To Enroll Hispanics in Obamacare

Obamacare1finalWith the enrollment period ending on February 15, the City of Orlando wants to make sure Central Florida residents are informed about their healthcare coverage options. To assist residents in getting covered and raise awareness of the financial assistance and quality insurance available through the Health Insurance Marketplace, the City of Orlando’s HOLA office is hosting a free community event.
At the event bilingual Certified Health Insurance Marketplace Navigators will be available to help attendees:
  • Learn what health care options are available through the Affordable Care Act
  • Re-enroll or change current coverage
  • Find out the necessary documents to provide
  • Determine the availability of financial assistance

3:45 p.m. – The “Countdown to Get Covered” Bus Tour Press Event
As part of the community event, the “Countdown to Get Covered” bus will stop at the City’s HOLA office to get the message out about the final days of open enrollment.  The “Countdown to Get Covered” is a multi-state bus tour that showcases enrollment resources in communities across the south of United States and is led by Enroll America, a non-profit organization dedicated to maximizing the number of Americans who enroll in health coverage.
