Central Florida Dragon Parade in Orlando, February 22

Lunar New Year is most celebrated holiday in East Asia. Although Chinese New Year is not an official holiday in Western countries, many of the Asian countries & Asian organizations in America hold large celebrations and parades to share its spring festivity. In the past, cities like Sydney, London, New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco have held many successful Lunar New Year Parades that attracts thousands of crowds each year.

The Year of the Goat marks the 4th annual Central Florida Dragon Parade held in Orlando, Florida. The festivity has received overwhelming responses from local and far communities alike, this year, Asia Trend Magazine is partnering with Mills 50 (Orlando Mainstreet District), R.E.A.C.H. (Recognizing Educating Asian Cultural Heritage) and Y.E.S.S. (Youth Enrichment and Senior Services) to join forces together to host Dragon Parade Lunar New Year on February, 22 from 11:00am to 5:00pm

The festival parade starts at Macy’s parking lot in front of Orlando Fashion Square Mall and will end at Orlando Fashion Square Mall’s front entrance (between Dillard’s & JC Penney). Parade will be followed by another 5-hours of Spring Festivity that will take place at the lobby stage inside of Orlando Fashion Square Mall.  Last year, 5000+ patrons came out and enjoyed events scheduled cultural performances, Arts and Crafts, as well as, exotic food and other exhibitions. Admission is free.
