Mayor Buddy Dyer invites Central Florida residents and visitors to kick off the holiday season at the City of Orlando’s 7th Annual Tree Lighting Celebration on Friday, December 5, Lake Eola Park, downtown Orlando.
The event features the lighting of the City’s 72-foot Christmas tree, which is decorated with 88,000 animated lights.
The Tree Lighting Celebration includes TheDailyCity.com Food Truck Bazaar, the Trinity Lutheran Choir performing holiday favorites with an audience sing-along, the Trinity Lutheran School Christmas musical, gift vendors and an outdoor viewing of “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.” At 8:45 p.m., the Eola Wonderland Christmas Tree Show will make its debut with a synchronized light and music show.
Admission to the Tree Lighting Celebration is free.
