Kappa Alpha Psi Alumni Chapter awards 10 scholarships to seniors

Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. Orlando Alumni Chapter held its 16^th Annual Scholarship Awards Luncheon last Saturday at Pine Hills Community Center located at 6408 Jennings Road in Orlando.

Ten scholarships were awarded to graduating seniors from Central Florida high schools, each with a grade point average of at least 3.0.  Each scholar received $1,000 toward their college education.

“We understand the importance of education and we also understand the importance of supporting the educational aspirations of students in the communities we live and serve,” said Eddie Brown.  “These scholarships are the tangible evidence of our belief.”
