A 22-year-old man died on the spot when he was ejected from a speeding Honda sports ATV on Friday night, Florida Highway Patrol said.
The crash happened around 9:20 p.m. on 1st Street near Avenue C, in Seminole County.
Troopers said, the driver of the ATV was speeding westbound on 1st Street when he lost control and slammed into a pole. The ATV overturned and Daniel Huffman, 22, of Oviedo, was ejected and died on the spot.
Wayne Badertcha, 23, of Chuluota, was also ejected and critically injured.
Troopers are still trying to determine who – Huffman or Badertcha – was driving the ATV at the time of the crash.
