A woman was killed on Interstate 95, after driving her Chrysler Van into a parked disabled semi-tractor trailer, Florida Highway Patrol said.
Christina Wysong, 58, of Rockledge, Florida was heading southbound on I-95, when for an unknown reason she traveled off the roadway and drove into the semi-tractor trailer parked on the southbound west shoulder, troopers said. She was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
Toxicology are being awaited to determine whether or not alcohol played a role in the crash, which happened at mile marker 179, around 9:50 a.m., on Monday.
Joseph Leal, 26, of Rockledge, the driver of the disabled semi-tractor trailer was unhurt.
Troopers say, the crash is still being investigated.
