Police are searching for a hit and run driver who crashed into a patrol car early on Monday, then fled the scene.
The crash happened in the 6100 block of Curry Ford Road around 12:30 a.m., when an officer was responding to a call.
Possibly a 4-door light-colored Buick, driven by a white man in his twenties, with thin blond hair, crashed into the patrol car then fled from the area eastbound on Curry Ford Road, OPD said. It is believed there is front end damage to the vehicle.
The police officer, who was injured, was transported to a local area hospital, treated and released. The police car sustained damage and towed from the scene.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of this vehicle or who knows the identity of the suspect driver, is urged to call the Orlando Police Department.
