Gunfire at a house party early on Sunday morning left one person dead and several others injured, Orange County deputies said.
The shooting happened at 4591 Charleen Terrace, off Silver Star Road and Ashland Boulevard on Orange County’s west side.
Deputies responded before 6:00 a.m. on Sunday where they found multiple party-goers with gunshot wounds. About 30 people were at the house party. Investigators also said, about 6-8 people were taken to local area hospitals.
Okeem E. Jarvis, 24, died as a result of the shooting. The other victims are believed to have non-life threatening injuries.
Detectives believe that multiple firearms were used, but have so far, made no arrests.
