A man, armed with a firearm, robbed a CVS Pharmacy on Orange County’s westside early on Saturday morning, deputies say.
The man entered the CVS located at 6217 Silver Star Road near Powers Drive, just before 8:00 a.m. The suspect brandished a firearm and demanded cash.
Investigators have not disclosed details, but during the armed robbery he was able to make off with an undisclosed amount of money. It is believed that the man fled on foot, in an unknown direction.
It is unclear if anyone was hurt during the armed robbery.
Investigators expect to release video surveillance later this morning.
