A young man shot and killed outside the Alta Westgate Apartments off Hiawassee Road on Sunday evening, has been identified.
Orange County deputies say, the deceased is 22-year-old Earl Alonzo Allen, a black male.
Allen and two others were the subject of a drive-by shooting just before 6:30 p.m., yesterday. According to investigators, the vehicle drove through the area and fled as it fired at the victims. Allen was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two other persons, not identified, were hit in the hail of bullets. One suffered a non-life threatening injury, while the third victim, hit in the leg, was taken to Health Central Hospital in Ocoee.
Investigators are still trying to determine the circumstances surrounding the murder and shootings.
