A Tallahassee attorney on Monday filed three separate lawsuits against Governor Rick Scott, Attorney General Pam Bondi and the Department of State, the AP reports.
Attorney Steven Andrews, who is caught up in a land dispute with the governor and members of his Cabinet, is asking a court to force them to hand over records and to pay his attorney fees.
Andrews contends that the Scott administration changed calendars of a top aide, relied on private email accounts and waited over a year to hand over text messages of another aide. Bondi, he says, has refused to hand over notes from meetings she kept on her iPad and didn’t provide emails from private accounts that dealt with state business.
