An Okaloosa, Florida man who brandished a shotgun at a road crew trimming trees in front of a Fort Walton Beach home, was taken into custody, Oklaoosa County Sheriff Office said in a news release.

59-year-old Michael H. Flora, a homeowner in the 400 block of Marlowe Drive, angrily confronted the road crew and ordered them off his property.

According to the news release, Florida yelled at the crew to get off his property or he would go and get his shotgun.

True to his word, Flora went into his house, grabbed a shotgun, returned to his front yard and pumped it once to put a round in the chamber.  He then put the weapon on his shoulder, pointed it in the air and walked towards the crew before moving into the bushes in the side yard.

Deputies who responded to the scene, took Flora into custody and charged him with aggravated assault with a weapon without intent to kill.
