Orlando police are searching for three suspects who robbed two women at gunpoint in separate incidents on Monday night.
The armed robberies occurred at 523 E. Amelia Street and 1225 Shady Lane Drive at approximately 10:00 and 10:35 p.m., respectively.
Police say, both women were robbed at gunpoint while exiting their vehicle in the driveway of their residences. In the E. Amelia Street armed robbery, the suspects removed the woman’s purse and attempted to remove her from the vehicle. The three suspects then fled in the area in a small, black, four-door newer model vehicle.
In the case of the second victim, the suspects robbed the woman at gunpoint and took her car, along with her purse and other possessions. Police say, the stolen car was later recovered.
The suspects are all black males in their late teens to early twenties and ranged in height from 5’5″ to 5’10”.
Police believe both cases are related.
