Defoe is accused of raping a woman in the 1600 block of South Kirkman Road near Valencia College early on Friday morning. Police say, late on Thursday night, he attempted to abduct another woman from the Timbersound Apartments in the 4800 block of Raleigh Street, but scared away by the woman’s husband.

Defoe has a long criminal arrest record and was most recently released from prison on July 1, for grand theft.
