Auburndale High School was the stage for a photo shoot to test images for the newest fad in sporting events.
Arena Text & Graphics displays text and graphics throughout a stadium by coordinating what color of shirts fans wear to the game. Using only 64 people, they were able to spell all letters of the alphabet, numbers, and symbols.
This simulates a huge stadium full of people that can spell phrases and display images the full height and width of the stadium.
Arena Text & Graphics made a donation to Auburndale High School band as a fund raiser.
Arena Text & Graphics does displays during the day using colored shirts. Displays at night are done using LED fiber wands.
“You will go to sporting events wondering – which team color should I wear to the game? You simply go to our website, enter in your section, row, and seat and we return one of the team colors as the color you wear to the game. When you get to the game, all the fans will cover the stadium / arena with text and graphics” says Keith Baldwin of Arena Text & Graphics. “For teams that give away colored shirts, you simply enter the stadium or arena, place your ticket under a scanner which reads the section, row, and seat and a color is then returned to the attendant who hands you a shirt in your size and color.”
Arena Text & Graphics has US and international patents pending on these concepts.
Arena Text & Graphics is looking for larger groups to do their next photo shoots.
Marti Newkirk of Lakeland was the photographer. Jason Gibbs is the band director at Auburndale High School.
