3 Hispanic Males Robbed at Gunpoint, 1 Dead

One of the Hispanic male victims that was shot last night, January 15th, has died of his injuries.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office has not yet released his name, pending notification of next of kin.

Orange County Sheriff’s deputies said that three Hispanic males were shot on Friday evening, as they were being robbed at gunpoint by two black males. One of the victims is in critical condition.

At approximately 8:30 PM on Friday, January 15th, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office Communication Center received a 9-1-1 call from 843 Sunniland Drive, Orlando, in reference to a shooting.

Deputies responded to the scene and found that three Hispanic males had been shot by unknown suspects.  The victims told deputies they were hanging out in the backyard when two black males, armed with handguns approached them, and demanded money.  One of the victims did not comply and the suspect started shooting, injuring three of them.

The victims were transported the Orlando Regional Medical Center.  One of the victims in critical condition; the other two victims do not have life threatening injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.

  1. I pray that everyone works together to find these murderers. it was senseless and i could have easily been involved but just so happen god had took me out of harms way. Rip Mr. dejuan and to my close close friends and pops keep your head up.
