A 22-year-old Florida woman is in jail, accused of battering her 74-year-old boyfriend during a confrontation at the home they shared.
Sierra Chaffin, 22, “intentionally” pushed Marcos Beita, 74, with whom she had a “physical and intimate relationship” according to Manatee County Sheriff’s deputies, dailymail.co.uk reports.
Chaffin, who was arrested on Monday, has been charged with battery of a person over the age of 65 and is currently in the county jail.
A confrontation broke out between Chaffin and Beita as she attempted to move her belongings from the Bradenton home where the couple lived, according to the police report.
Witnesses at the scene said, Chaffin pushed Beita, who had recently undergone open heart surgery, in the stomach/chest area.
Chaffin has been previously arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with a suspended license.
