Florida Department of Management Services Office of Supplier Diversity today announced the keynote speakers for the 2010 AT&T MatchMaker Conference and Trade Show. The conference for small and minority-owned businesses runs November 17-19 at the Omni Orlando Resort in Orlando.
“The MatchMaker Conference and Trade Show brings Florida’s small and minority-owned businesses together with government spenders to share ideas, network and partake in informative workshops and sessions to help those vendors grow their businesses,” said DMS Secretary Linda H. South. “This year’s slate of experienced and talented keynote speakers brings proven business expertise to the conference, and I encourage Florida’s small and minority-owned business owners to take advantage of all this conference has to offer.”
Scheduled keynote speakers include:
- Will A. Gunn, General Counsel, United States Department of Veterans Affairs
- Belinda Grant-Anderson, AT&T Vice President of Workforce Development
and Diversity - Linda Landman Gonzalez, Orlando Magic Vice President of Community Relations and Government Affairs
This year’s conference theme is, “Driving Business Performance with Communications and Innovation,” and features educational workshops, one-on-one sessions between business owners and purchasing officials, plus networking opportunities. The MatchMaker conference connects small, minority, women and service-disabled veteran business owners with public and private buyers to share information, network and build relationships to do business with the State of Florida.
