20-Piece

The San Antonio Spurs are now (10-0) in the 2012 NBA playoffs and have won 20 consecutive games.

Tony Parker led the way for the Spurs with 34 points and 8 assists in a 120-111 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder Tuesday night.

“Tony’s been great all year,” Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said. “He’s been really focused the entire season.”

The win gives San Antonio a 2-0 lead in the western conference Finals and has many thinking they can go undefeated through the entire playoffs. A feat that no other team has been able to accomplish.

It won’t be easy but it can be done. The Spurs would have to win two in a row in Oklahoma then assuming the Heat make the Finals, win at least two in Miami.

Kevin Durant led the Thunder with 31 points followed by Westbrook’s 27.

“First, we’ve got to worry about Game 3,” Thunder guard Russell Westbrook said. “Regardless of what’s going on with this last game or the next game, we’ve got to worry about Game 3 and come in with the same mindset and try to get a win.”

It was clear before this series that the Spurs had the advantage with depth and scoring. OKC will need more from guys not named Durant, Westbrook and Harden in game three to have a chance in this series.

“There are no moral victories for us,” Durant said. “We were down. We dug ourselves a hole. We did what we normally do, which is fight all game, and we lost.”

Unlike game one, the Spurs came out sharp and ready to dominate, shooting 58% in the first half.

“You never go out and say, ‘We’re going to start out fast,” Popovich said. “You don’t know what is going to happen. You just want your team to be aggressive.”

Game three is set for Thursday in Oklahoma City, tip off is 9pm.
