Two Orlando drivers were killed in a head-on crash on Orange Avenue in Orange County early Saturday morning, Florida Highway Patrol said.
The accident happened around 4:15 a.m. on the southbound lanes of Orange Avenue near Perkins Road.
Troopers said, Robert Hord, 30, was driving north on Orange Avenue, when for an unknown reason, he crossed into the southbound lanes, crashing head-on into Riyad Majeed, 35, who was traveling southbound.
Both Hord and Majeed were pronounced dead on the scene.
It is not yet clear whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash, which remains under investigation.
