A Florida teenager, who made national news after she couldn’t stop hiccuping for several weeks, has been charged with first-degree murder, reports msnbc.com on Monday. Jennifer Mee, 19, tried various cures without success, until the hiccups eventually stopped.
According to a statement released on Sunday, police in St. Petersburg, Florida, said Mee had been arrested along with two other accomplices, Laron Raiford, 20, and Lamont Newton, 22. All three have been charged with first-degree murder, police said.
The victim, Shannon A. Griffin was found with “several gunshot wounds to his upper body”, police said.
