Orlando Monarch Baseball Host “Baseball Kickoff Gala”: March 27

Metropolitan Junior Baseball League (MJBL) and Orlando Monarchs Baseball (OMB) will host the “Baseball Kick Off” Gala, on Friday, March 27th 2015.  The event will take place at City Hall and will begin promptly at 7pm.  Special Appearances by Red Socks Players – Jemile Weeks & Mookie Betts and Atlanta Braves Eric Young, Jr.  Confirmation of additional players will be announced as confirmed.

The gala is one of many opportunities that the organizations are hosting to raise money & awareness for inner city, after school baseball and educational programs and to promote the National Inner City Classic Tournament, scheduled for July 26th thru August 2nd in Orlando, Florida.  In partnering together, MJBL and OMB will produce the largest minority baseball project in the nation.  According to Orlando Monarchs Baseball Founder, Rickie Weeks, Sr., this event will help inner city baseball networks and help develop our future minority players.
