Orlando Magic kicked off back to school efforts Wednesday, with the team participating in a field day with 200 campers at the Englewood Neighborhood Center.
Magic’s Community Ambassadors Nick Anderson, Bo Outlaw and the Magic Dancers delivered supply-filled backpacks to students, served lunch and were on-hand for the festivities.
The campers had a great deal of fun with activities such as, face painting, inflatables, a rock wall, video games, laser tag and photo stations and Plinko games courtesy of Metro PCS.
The field day also rounded out the end of the Magic and Florida Hospital’s awareness campaign for the Summer Break Spots program. The federally-funded program provided more than 450,000 nutritious meals and snacks to children throughout the entire summer.
