An Orlando-area teenager has become the youngest person to qualify as a lawyer in England, after passing her exams at 18 years.
Gabrielle Turnquest was called to the Bar in England and Wales, The Telegraph reported. The average lawyer takes the Bar Professional Training Course at age 27.
The young high-flyer doesn’t plan to work in the U.K., but expects to return to the U.S. to qualify as a lawyer in her country of birth, the paper also reported. Â Turnquest’s success means that she is also called to the Bar in the Bahamas, the country of her parents.
Originally from Windermere, Florida, Gabrielle hopes to eventually become a fashion law specialist.
