The mother of a seven-month-old baby who died after being abused by his dad, has been charged with child neglect, Orange County Sheriff’s deputies said.
On Monday, investigators charged Keith Skinner with first degree murder in the death of his son, 7-month-old Triumph Skinner, after the child suffered abuse at his father’s hands. Now, detectives have arrested the baby’s mother.
Police said yesterday, homicide detectives arrested Michelle M. Ford, the baby’s mother and charged her with child neglect.
Ford, 30 years, was arrested early this morning around 12:30 am at 3543 south Magnolia Avenue.  She was transported to the Orange County Jail.
Ford is currently being held without bond.
