A native of Rochester, New York, Ezell Harris Jr., started getting involved in community efforts in his teens. Throughout high school, besides staying on the right side of the law, Junior as he was called, spent plenty of time assisting the elderly in his neighborhood. Choosing to join the U.S. Army after graduating from high school, Ezell enlisted and successfully completed the U.S. Army Military Police School at Ft. McClellan, Alabama. Ezell was sent to Schofield Barracks, Hawaii as his permanent duty station.
While serving in Hawaii, Ezell met a group of Jehovah's Christian Witnesses that would forever impact his life. Upon being honorably discharged from the U.S. Army, Ezell was drawn back to return home to Rochester, New York.
For the past 23 years, Ezell has lived in Central Florida and has been very active in the communities he has lived.
