The Outdoor Festival of the Arts at the 26th Annual Zora Neale Hurston Festival of the Arts and Humanities kicks off in Eatonville on January 30 and runs through February 1, 2015. As always, the Outdoor Festival is packed with excitement, but the icing on the cake this year, is the double header concert at Center Stage on Saturday and Sunday.
Back by popular demand, is the R&B band Maze featuring Frankie Beverly on Saturday January 31 at 3PM. Festival patrons can expect to sway to the melodious tones of the band’s deep music catalog, which includes popular hits such as “Southern Girl”, “Joy and Pain”, and “Before I Let You Go”. International Smooth Jazz sensation Najee headlines Sunday’s concert at 3PM, where fans can expect to hear Najee’s hits “Betcha Don’t Know” and “Sweet Summer Nights”. With the food at the International Food Court and merchandise from vendors from around the world, there is certainly something for everyone.
