George Zimmerman won’t face any charges for now in what appeared to be an altercation between him and his estranged wife and her father on Monday afternoon.
Shellie Zimmerman called 911 and told the operator that George accosted her father and punched him in the nose. She also could be heard saying on the call that, he took her Ipad out of her hand and smashed it.
“Ok, ok. I don’t know what he’s capable of,” Shellie Zimmerman told the 911 operator. “I am really scared.”
Shellie Zimmerman also said that George had his hand on his gun and he “keeps saying, step closer, step closer,” and he will shoot us.

Zimmerman’s lawyer, Mark O’Mara told the media later, there were no threatening weapons of any type, but there could have been some pushing and shoving between the couple. Shellie Zimmerman filed for divorce from her husband last Thursday.
O’Mara added that emotions ran high, but that no charges will be filed against anybody. “They need to work through their situation,” as privately as possible, he said.
Zimmerman was acquitted two months ago, in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin, an unarmed black teen. Since then, he remained in the news, having been pulled over twice for speeding.
