World’s Largest SWAT Training, Competition Begins

Celebrating the 27th Anniversary, SWAT Round-Up International combines education and training seminars, head to head competition, and trade show into one major event.  SWAT Round-Up International is the largest event in the world that caters to Tactical Operators and allows them to share experiences, tactics and network with other operators from around the globe.  Team members are also provided with advanced training from a variety of instructors as to the most up-to-date SWAT tactics from across the country.

swat-team-10aSWAT Round-Up International 2009 began Sunday November 29th and will continue through Friday December 4th.  SWAT Round-Up International (SRI) is the Premier International Training & Competition Event for Special Operations Teams.   In 2009, we will host 52 teams for competition and training.  Eight (8) of those are International Teams.  These teams compete in a variety of events which test the tactical skills of team members and reinforce teamwork to accomplish their missions.

The competition will take place at the Orange County Sheriff’s Office Firearms Range.
