World Class Tennis at the Orlando Tennis Centre

 

Come out to the Orlando Tennis Centre and watch world class tennis. The Orlando Women’s $10,000 USTA Pro Circuit matches run daily through March 17, 10-5 pm. The tournament is open to the public at no charge.

The Tournament festivities also include free special community events:

Wednesday, March 13

· Head Demo Day-try out a new Head racquet and talk with a representative, 11am-1pm

Thursday, March 14

· Ladies Day on the Court – Ladies have an opportunity to hit with a professional tennis player, 12-1pm

Friday, March 15

· Men’s Day on the Court, Men have an opportunity to hit with a professional tennis player, 12-1pm

Saturday, March 16

· Orange County Special Olympics, 9am-12pm

· Free Instructional Junior clinic, 12-1pm

· Harvard’s Women Tennis Team, 2:30-4:30pm

· Princeton’s Women Tennis Team, 5:30-6:30pm

Sunday, March 17

· Harvard Women’s Tennis Team, 9am-1pm

· Free junior clinic (intermediate/advanced level), 10-11:30am

· Mixed Doubles exhibition, 11am-12 pm

· First Appearance of the youth City Choir, 12-12:15 pm

· Singles Final, 12:15-3pm

The 2013 USTA $10,000 Women’s Pro Circuit Tournament is March 10 -17 at the Orlando Tennis Centre, 649 West Livingston Street, Orlando, 32801. Admission to the tournament is free. For more information call 407.246.4469.

With approximately 90 tournaments hosted annually throughout the country and prize money ranging from $10,000 to $100,000, the USTA Pro Circuit is the pathway to the US Open and tour-level competition for aspiring tennis players and a frequent battleground for established professionals. The USTA launched its Pro Circuit 34 years ago to provide players with the opportunity to gain professional ranking points, and it has since grown to become the largest developmental tennis circuit in the world, offering nearly $3 million in prize money.
