Women’s Club Shooter, Robbers Arrested

Three male suspects are in custody after one of the men  shot at a DJ and pregnant woman outside the Central Florida’s Women’s Club on Saturday morning. The men sped away after stealing electronic equipment, but were caught when deputies initiated a felony stop.

According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office:

At approximately 3:04 am, on Saturday morning, the Sheriff’s Office received a call in reference to shots fired outside the Central Florida Women’s Club located at 5901 South Orange Avenue.

When deputies arrived, they learned that an argument had broken out among several people at the club and that the DJ chose to pack up and leave the party.

As the DJ and an pregnant female were outside the club packing a van, three men who had left the club, returned.  One of them fired at least one round from a handgun.  The victims told detectives they were in fear for their lives and ran across the street where they witnessed the three suspects load the male victim’s DJ equipment into a white Chevrolet Impala, which fled the scene northbound on Orange Avenue.

Deputies located the suspects’ vehicle at a RaceTrac Gas Station at 4098 South Orange Avenue around 3:11 am.  Backup units were called to the location, a felony stop initiated, and the three occupants of the car secured.

The victims were taken to the RaceTrac where they identified the three suspects as the men who assaulted them and stole the electronic equipment.

The suspects are:

Stanley Chassagne, 24 years
Andy Cherizard, 27.
Reginald Raphael, 22.

Detectives were told that the shot was fired by Chassagne.

Deputies have not released the names of the victims.

Chassagne has been charged with armed burglary with a firearm; aggravated assault with a firearm and aggravated assault with a firearm on a pregnant female.

Cherizard and Raphael have both been charged with robbery with a firearm and armed burglary with a firearm.  Additionally, Raphael has also been charged with grand theft.

All three suspects were booked into the Orange County Jail around 7:20 am on Saturday morning.
