Orange County investigators are looking into a complaint filed by two St. Cloud women who say they were chased by George and Cindy Anthony after the women caught Cindy removing a cross from the former makeshift Caylee memorial site.
Lois Peter, 56, said she went to the site on Suburban Drive on Monday night with her 13-year-old granddaughter and two adult friends to leave a cross and see if anyone would take it.
The cross that they had placed earlier was gone, Peter said.
The group snapped a picture, and that is what appeared to have set off the chase, she said.
The Milsteads were in one truck and the Anthonys in another vehicle, and they chased Peter’s car around the neighborhood, boxing them in twice. Eventually, Peter said, they came up to a state trooper at Narcoossee Road and Lee Vista Boulevard.

As to your story about how the Anthony`s are guilty of removing a cross and chasing Mrs.Lois Peters around the neighborhood,I would like to know who the real CROOK is? Mrs Lois Peters of St. Cloud FL recieved a money-gram by me for the amount of $400.00towards the rental of an apartment which she claimed she was the manager of in St. Cloud, she walked to a local store and picked up the money my wife and i whom are both disabled,wired to her as a holding deposit as we planed to sell our home here in Ohio and move there to be close to our two daughters and grandchildren. We sighned no contract and recieved no key as Mrs. Peters claimed she was an Honest Manager to Mr.Steve Hartmen whom ownes the property.
Unfortunatly the sale of our home in Ohio fell through and Mrs.Peters claimed she was so sorry and would refund our money by check through the mail!! After waiting a week I called her back and she now claimed the owner wanted to keep one week`s worth of rent for the inconvienence but later found out the apartment had quickly been rented! Now,three weeks later,i have still not recieved my refund and Mrs.Peters is screening out our call`s! I do believe this is theft by deceptionand my daughter in St.Cloud is preparing to seek legal action to recover our stolen money while my wife and i are left in need after a terrible situation no thank`s to the Honesty of Mrs. Peter`s, whom is now blamingthe owner of the apartment`s for all of this!! SHAME on you again LOIS,CROOK`S like you carry seriously BAD kharma, please return our money and learn to leave other`s alone, If you want attention GO TO CHURCH!!Or continue to force my hand and seek legal action!!
