A woman who snatched a wallet from a purse in a Downtown Orlando restaurant on March 6th and withdrew $3,200 with the hour is still at large, Orlando Police Department (OPD) detectives said.
According to the OPD statement:
The victim, Dolly Foster, was sitting in Cracker Barrel Restaurant at 5859 Caravan Court, Downtown Orlando on March 6th 2010. Foster said that her purse was on the floor and upon leaving the restaurant she entered the ladies bathroom, whereupon, she noticed that her wallet was missing. The victim’s vehicle, motel room and motel grounds were searched, with negative results. The victim informed that she called First Tech Visa to cancel her card, whereupon she was informed that a $3,200 ATM withdrawal had been made within the hour. Foster said that, neither she nor her husband had withdrawn those funds.
OPD has provided a picture of the suspect, who withdrew the $3,200 from a local bank.
